FlagUS Handgun Repair

Hey guys, been a while since I posted here. I'm a little bit "on the fence" about something. My awesome wife bought me a .22 handgun for Christmas. It's a Heritage Rough Rider single action .22 LR/mag revolver. It has a regular cylinder and a mag cylinder. I've been wanting a .22 handgun to carry with ratshot while bowhunting. I like it, it shoots probably about about as accurate as most .22 handguns, and it was easy on the wallet at $169.00. Here's my situation. I realized it needs some minor repair. I noticed it stopped clicking when I rotated the cylinder to load and unload it. Aside from the hammer block safety, it's an old-fasioned, old west style revolver, and it's loaded (and unloaded) one round at a time through a loading gate. Long story short, I opened it up and had a look, and I need to replace 2 small parts, and I'll have to order them from the manufacturer. It will cost $17.00 for both. The gun is still well under warranty, but it seems like shipping it to the factory for repair would cost me nearly as much or maybe mare than just the parts, even though the repair itself wouldn't cost me. Repairs take about 2 weeks, and parts are usually shipped within 10 days. The parts are small enough that they can probably just mail them to me in one of those padded envelopes. I'm kinda tempted to just order the parts and replace them myself, but not really decided for sure. The parts should not be too much trouble to replace, but I'm not sure if that would void the warranty. What would y'all do?
