I hope not. After reading all the complaints myself and others have posted on here about being a considerate and courteous fisherman, I would hope a fellow member would know better than to do that. If not, shame on you Booboo.

blue/white nautic star? I think we talked to you, my dad and I were in a black/white nautic star. By the way, I think you did a pretty good job at staying away from folks, at least from us you did. Snuck up on us one time from the back but I casted my rod wide right and you went around my casting zone, which is all I can ask for at that crazy place lol We ended up with 50 btw, left right before the front.

Having kids on the boat with you doesn't give you license to act like an a**. Like I said before, express your displeasure to them and maybe they will learn to be more considerate. I had to do it Wednesday to some idiot who trolled about 20 yards behind me right where I was fishing. If no one tells them not to do it, they don't think it's wrong.

I don't have a problem with people trolling around my bow if I'm fishing off the back, but for Christ's sake don't troll where people are fishing!

O I hear that and if someone on this site did that to another.. I just hate to hear that... I passed kind of close to 2 guys in a bass tracker, but they were both sitting down eating sandwiches and I just let the wind blow me right past them.

With that many people in an area and the wind blowing I have found myself too close to other people on accident when I have my boys with me. It's difficult moving around as it is, couple that with a kid hooking up and making an attempt to help them get the catch in the boat or managing a tangle or snag, and it doesn't take long to wind up where you weren't expecting when not anchored. I throw a sorry to the next boat and create distance.

However, dimpling trolling all in and around other boats is not cool, just keep in mind that mistakes happen and judge the way you handle it based on that.

Yeah I don't think anyone would have a problem with that or trolling within casting distance of another boat on the opposite side of where they're fishing. It's just common sense and unfortunately alot of people have none.

I hear you. I screwed up a couple weeks ago trolling by a pier in front the camps. Another boat pulled up to the spot I was going to about 100 yards before I got there and anchored about 50 yards from the pier. I decided I would troll around his bow near the pier since he was fishing off the stern. There was no one on the pier so I trolled about 10-15 ft. away from to keep as much distance between me and the other boat. I briefly noticed a couple rods in rod holders on the pier, but the one I remember looking at on the corner was reeled up and had weights and a hook hanging. Well I'm paying most of my attention to where I'm going to anchor and staying away from the other boat. This older gentleman comes walking down the pier and starts chewing my a** out about being too close to his pier and going over his lines. At first I was like "what the hell is he upset about"? Well when I looked closely at the other poles, they had lines in the water. I apologized profusely to him and told him I was trying to stay away from the other boat and didn't notice the lines in the water. He accepted my sincere apology and was very nice after that.

So the moral of this long story is, we all make mistakes, but hopefully we learn from them. I know I have. I will double check for lines before trolling next to a pier.
