Do you normally rig your plastic body through the head like that while fishing a cork? I have heard of people doing that and an old-timer told me that was his secret weapon....using an old Mann's Stingray grub hooked through the head under a cork.

How was the water out there?

water was surprisingly clean... slightly stained and greenish.

Not sure what's more impressive... U catching a record of 3 fish or the fact that u restrained urself from throwing ur pole in the surf. Keep ur chin up u will get the hang of it.
