Trout Extravaganza 3-15-13

Trout bite off the charts again today, good as it gets. Joey Amorello, Herman Savoy, Glenn & Kyle Girouard joined me today for a trout extravaganza. The guys had a great night sleep at Dularges only Premier Lodge: The Reel Inn. We pulled out of the lodge right before daybreak, arriving at the trout honey hole. Herman started us off with the first fish breaking the ice. It was all she wrote after that!!! The switch was on and we had fish flying in the boat almost every cast for one straight hour. The box filled up quick then in the blink of the eye it was over. The bite just shut down. We moved around picking away at another 10 fish then moved on. We hit several locations picking up one fish at every stop. I decided to go check a spot I haven't fished in a while, and it payed off. We started slinging in fish again. With the box full we called it a day and headed into the lodge. What a incredible day with a great group of guys. We laughed so hard today with all the jokes and trash talk my throat hurts!!! Always a blast fishing with Glenn and Kyle and a pleasure meeting and fishing with Joey and Herman. Looking forward to many more trips!! Matrix Shad Green Hornet was the hot bait today, reeled in with a slow steady retrieve. Thanks again guys. Looking forward to tomorrow!!
