Default The Bay 11-21-12

Big Country, Calcutta and myself hit the bay bright and early. Put in at the point before sunrise and ran threw shark bayou. Made our way to the trash pile area to find birds working with zero fish underneath. Made a move into Weeks Bay and SLAM the bite started, put the power pole down and never moved! Fast and furious action for a good while until crabber man did figure 8's around us! Soon as crabber man left the bite was on again! Finished with our 3 man limit of 75 by 10:00. Blue Moon Skull Draggerz was the bait of choice! Awesome day on the water!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1353534967.631603.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1353534993.390679.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1353535008.696540.jpg

BayBoat, dang it, must of just missed the bite. We got to WB about 11:30 today and saw about 10 boats hanging out on the North side, sorta kinda not too far from the IC. Tried there, but didn't see anyone pull in a fish while we were there. Let me guess, that's where the bite was?

Yeah Cajun bill in that area.
If we would've started there first thing in the morning we would've had our limit by 9

I been seeing a lot of bird activity in that northeast side of weeks bay. Last fall the specks were on that east bank near the little cut to the IC.

I fished there with at least that many last year but everyone was catching. It was unreal how many trout were there last fall. Lasted 6 weeks at least.

I don't know what holds them there. It's just so shallow there.

Love this forum. Da peeps are willing to share info so everyone can enjoy catching. As has often been said, there are enuf fish for everyone. (Much different than another forum that I also follow where almost no one is willing to share info.) thanks to all.
