Default BL 6/23 Night Trip w Pics

Took my wife and kids out for a fun evening of fishing, our evening started in Turners, the water looked great with the slight north wind that we have been having.

We caught our 60 and called it a night. All of the fish were caught on TTF pearl/chart flats minnows and Mirrodine's (spelling), color on the Mirrodine did not matter. I also used a Duce Rod for the first time, great distance on this pole with my new Lews reel I picked up from the tackle box. Catching fish with equipment from our sponsors is always a plus.

I will be up on the lake again tonight for our annual moderator trip.

Here are a few pics, enjoy.

I love day fishing and I did as much of it as I could this year but by the time the middle of June rolls around it is nice not get away from the crowds and beat the heat.

North east wind tonight, the camps up north in Deatonville should be good. To catch with us on my lights you guys would have to get so close that neither of us would be catching fish. The fish have been less than 10 yards from my boat all summer. I know there are several camps in Prien Lake and also on the east bank that have lights on a timmer that probably are not being fished, they should be good tonight.
