Default Beach fishing from sabine to Holly beach???

Guys,

How is the beach fishing around the rock piles at the beach usually. It looks like the wind is gonna let down a little bit sunday, and since we have to make a run to hackberry, instead of fishing the lake we are kinda thinking to just take the wading gear and fish the beach a little.

I would assume those rocks down there would be good, but i have never fished them so if anyone can give me some insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what the water is gonna look like after saturday, but were gonna give it a shot regardless.

Thomas

Way off topic . Can u imagine the actual size of that fish if they are talkn bout it in a tv show with no pics? Probably started off as an 8lbr and by the time the fella on the tube gets the weight she's a hefty 10??¿¿

I'll be in j.b today. I'll get some more pics for y'all. Then I'll post some info tonight and in the mornin. Havent even looked at what the weather is gonna do but I know the south end of the lake has 12-18 inches of visibility as I yesterday. So I know we got some good water moving up the lake.

Water was choc tint but had clarity. As u get closer to the west end of the rocks the water is considerably clearer lighter tint. Wasn't too rough today. I'll post in the morning what these north winds coming in do. Lots of mullet and shrimp jumping on the beach. We actually cast netted quite a bit of each as sun set.
