Without trying to be tooooo nosy, generally did you find the specks shallow or deep? The wife and I went to the south end on Monday, and found a few flatties in the shallows but only one trout. I almost always fish the flats and the back bayous, and I really need to learn how to get on em when they are deeper.

The key is to look ,listen, smell . Look for bait, listen for feeding activity, smell trout slicks. Read the tides and work the more tide influenced areas. |
