I have a Coon Problem...
Guys:
We have a terrible problem this year with coons at our deer ranch in Texas. They tore up almost every feeder between Labor day and Oct. 30. We put varmint gaurds on some of them and then they ate through the solar panel wires. Years ago I read somewhere to put a coffee can with sardines and antifreeze in a tree and the coons will eat it and die. The trick is to put it so dogs and hogs cant get to it. Has anyone ever tried this or have another idea? I don't want to disturb the least at night shooting them.
