Default name of the weir at Rockefella

Can you please help me to provide few names of the weirs at Rockefeller Refuge? The following:

1) Launch Out of Joesph Harbor and Go straight down main canal, and take left at the 'T'. following this canal then it will curve to the right then straighten out. After about 2 miles, take a left into a large canal sharply on left side where the dam is located before go down to Mud Hole. What is the name of the weir?

2) Again, Launch Out of Joesph Harbor and Go straight down main canal, and take right at the 'T', straight down about few hundred yards away, there is another dam or weir on left side. What's the name of the dam or Weir?

3) Again, Launch Out of Joesph Harbor and Go straight down main canal, and take right at the 'T', head down straighten about 2-3 miles, there is a weir after passing by flood gate control where entering into Bertrand Canal on left side. What's the name of the weir?

Only I know two names of weirs at Rockefella - Mud Hole and LSU Dam

That's it.

Many thanks and Happy Fishing and Shrimping (via castnet) Day!

Cheers!!

Default weirs

I think the answer to #3 is "Crab City". Or at least that is what we used to call it before Rita which changed everything at that weir. Used to kill the crabs there (smallish, but plentiful), but it silted up after Rita and I've never done well there since then.

As far as #2, I know where you are talking about, but I've never heard it named anything (as far as I know). Hard to get into, cuz it's silted up, but if you can keep the gators away from the bait, not a bad place to crab.

Here is a link to a map. There are no names but you can see the locations.

Thanks, guys all!!! Sarcastically, I know Rockefeller Refuge areas pretty well, but I didn't even know some of those names so I have to learn all of those names (weirs/canals).
