Put them on a sheet pan and in the oven @ 175° over night. Let them cool and ran them through my spice grinder to powder. 10 lbs of peppers made about 8 oz. of chipotle powder. Very good flavor and heat. |

I had been told that the stuff you make is alot better than the store bought. How true. I did this for using in my rub.
