Hey Cat,
My Dad used to work at Channel 9 in Baton Rouge back in the early 70's, he said they would film the interviews & the matches right at the station, he said afterwards they all would get in the same car & go to the bar!

Hacksaw the best...Last year was forced to take my 9 year old....well he was 8 at the time to the Cajun Dome for WWE event or whatever it is called now. He was into the wrestling thing last year. Well guess who was on the card...OLE HACKSAW..I used to watch him when it was old MID-South wrestling. I forgot who he fought but he was still a blast with the 2X4. Dude has to be over 50.....He had a beer belly from HELL!

Some of the wrestlers used to come work out at the football weight room at ULL when they were in town at the cajun dome...I stood next to the rock...pretty cool they had some other guys but I didn't follow wrestling at that time and didn't know who they were...but the guys that did were all bug eyed!! That was cool...
