Default Verm Bay 10/30

Launched out of cypremort point this morning.

Fished hammock, dry reef, the cove, and trash pile. Plastics, dead shrimp under a popping cork, dead shrimp on the bottom (sometimes all three at once).

Snagged a croaker in all of 6 hours.

Water looked better @ hammock and the cove than at the pile.

Saw a few boats land a fish in the cove, but nobody tearing 'em up.

That's why I often drive the extra hour and go to Calcasieu. V-Bay is so unpredictable.

Went to the island Saturday morning and caught live shrimp and mullet, then headed out to south of Mound Point where the water looked good. Picked up 10-good size specs on live shrimp between 9:00am and 10:15am, then they shut down and so did I. Tried in the bay but no bites.
