Wildlife officials close rec. center at Sabine Wildlife Refuge

[/SIZE][/SIZE][/SIZE][SIZE=2][SIZE=2]LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Officials with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service tell us that they have been forced to close the Hog Island Gully Recreation Center at the Sabine National Wildlife Refuge.
Diane Borden-Billiot with the agency says the closure is due to a recent "trashing" of the area, with debris and dead fish causing a possible health issue.
The recreation center is closed for the weekend and could remain closed longer.
