Default ship channel 8-07-10 in BL

Headed to the south end even though the wind was blowing pretty good, but the tide was riping out. We got to our destination around three and it was slow then things picked up. We caught 9 trout 3-4 pounders in a hr and a huge ship passed and screwed all the water up. That was the end to that. We then tried old river, steam engine, and 9 mile with little luck (2 reds). Headed back to heberts.
One day I will attempt pics sorry!!!

It fell like crazy after 3 and I saw it was dead for the most part all day on the website at the cameron fishing pier. We caught them on live mullet fishing the bottom. Water looked good in lake on west side, but horrible in the flats leading to the ship channel.
