Monique and Cody Bourgeois charged with child desertion and obscenity for leaving daughter on a Louisiana beach to go for a naked run. Bourgeois' 20-month-old daughter was discovered by sheriff's deputies covered in mosquito bites and sunburned on Holly Beach
Officials suspect both parents were high on drugs during the incident

The little girl had mosquito bites all over her body and a sunburn, according to authorities.
It was not until two hours later that deputies were able to track down the infant's parents, Cody and Monique Bourgeois.
The married couple were found jogging naked on the beach 3-4 miles away from the spot where their daughter was discovered. Both were arrested on charges of misdemeanor child desertion and obscenity.
Cameron Parish Sheriff Ron Johnson told the station the husband and wife were likely high on drugs at the time of the incident.
If convicted, the parents could face up to 6 months in jail and a $500 fine each.
The infant has been released into the custody of her maternal grandmother.
