even the old farts who go every day are only scratching out a few. i'm talking benoit landing area, not outside the basin. after Isadore i drove thru miles of dead sacs/bream/bass, but they are comming back. |

I have been catching them a foot deep in 9 fow with shiners and with rod runners. Caught these this morning.

My friend caught a nice mess out of Henderson this morning.

They are bad slow on toledo also I fished 5 hrs caught 11 their very scattered 1.2 off each pile

I don't think they ever fully recovered around the Lafayette area since Katrina honestly. Either that or there are just that many more people targeting them and hurting population. I don't fish for them hardly ever but my dad does and I used to go with him every weekend. He doesn't catch them like he used to for sure. Bass are good though, the size has definitely increased since that big flood a few years ago.
