Intracoastal Park under the Ellender Bridge on Highway 27....A few miles before you get to Hackberry...

Someone may know something on the other side of the lake....

I stayed in nature trail in hackberry for 9 months. The owners are super nice people and they keep an eye on your stuff. One time Mrs. Amy chased off my boss cause he was getting my dip net out of my boat and she didn't know him. call mr. kirby @ 337-912-4499

There is a small RV park that "sprang up" after Rita located on west side of Big Lake road [Hwy 384]. I can't remember exactly where it is located.....I think it is a mile or so south of where you cross the ICWW.

This is on the road that you take to get to Calcasieu Point boat landing.....just keep going farther south a few miles.

There are a couple in Hackberry. Can't stay at Intercoastal park, at Ellenders Bridge, for more than 14 days at a time. Don't know of any on the east side, though I am sure there are some.
