Default Vernon Lake 5.26.14
Had to work from 9-1pm on Memorial Day. Jumped in the boat around 2:00pm. Fished from 2:00pm-4:30pm and ended up taking home 11 keepers. Threw back 4 or 5 smaller ones (8-10"ers). There is no more slot limit on vernon with a 10 fish limit. Biggest one went around 2 lbs. The game warden was out in full force in his "undercover twin gator tail".

Forgot to mention....Carolina Rigged watermelon red anything. Find humps and fish before and after them. Bite is very very light. When you think your "hung up"...SET THE HOOK !!

Nice! my buddies parents just got a house on lake Vernon... we will be hitting it up pretty soon. Ill text you before we go and get a few pointers on what they are eating.
