Dink,

The OB tourney was last weekend and I was just there for my teams. i found out the hard way that I'm much better at building baits than I am at holding big checks. It was some wicked conditions. water was like a washing machine.

I need to update the site. We're getting geared up for HT3, GCAA and IFA next year. We're also going back down to our roots at the club level so if you guys know of a tourney that we could help out with, let me know.

Chris - I run a nonprofit organization (www.cbtrf.org), and we plan on putting on a fishing tourney in LA sometime next year, and at least two in TX, if you'd be interested in something like that.

Absolutely. I'll do whatever we can do. That's something I can rally some serious troops and resources behind. Let's talk more about details. How's my old stomping grounds looking these days?

Fishmaster,

yes. that's correct. they'll outlast your standard jig head by 3 times. I have charter captains that will use one for a week, on redfish charters.

Thanks, Chris! I'll get with you when we start the planning.

The Conroe/Woodlands area is booming right now...especially from FM1960 up to the south end of Lake Conroe. I go up there now and again to hang out at Pappa's on the Lake and some of the other similar places and watch the hotties play sand volleyball.
