My good customer Tim Barras with Owen Oil Tools was back onboard with his customer Randy Collins. We departed the Reel Inn Lodge and found a slow bite at our first stop. It was finicky bite with barley no tide movement. We made a move to one of my favorite reefs and struck silver!! The trout were chasing shrimp out the water and it was fish on every cast. We left the fish biting every cast (single rigged Green Hornet Matrix Shad tight-lined) to go look for reds and bass, as it was easy as it gets today. The wind picked up so we found a protected area and picked away at a handful of bass and a couple reds. Matrix Shad continues to produce daily in Dularge, no other baits needed in the boat. We called it a day around 11 to head in and clean all the fish. Dularge has been on fire and there is no end in sight. We have been loading the boat in 25-30 mph winds, before fronts, during fronts, the day after fronts, no tide, etc. It just doesn't get any better!! Thanks again Tim, I think we have limited together every trip this year again!!! Good times and great memories!! Looking forward to the next trip!!
Give me a call as our Capts are on the fish and the bite will only get better through the winter. Dates going quick so don't wait to call!!!!
