Default Dec. 8 redfish

Fished on the south east side of marsh island. Near bayou blanc. Caught over 40 because we had a hard time catching smaller ones. Most were 30 inches or better. Caught on a strong incoming tide. Couldnt find a trout anywhere around there.

I would free spool my reel and ask one of the girls to hold it. When they figured it out it was too late. LOL I forgot how hard they are to clean. From now on 20 inches max.

Awesome! It's just the opposite inside the bay. Saturday we probably caught 50 reds, but most were 15.5" lol

Big ole bronzebacks! Fun when you get into them like that.....what was the bait of choice?

I used the new "the thing" from tidal surge. I used the chartreuse. Crazy bait. All were caught on the thing and on glow/chartreuse reaction strike.

Yeah I saw them on the other thread.....sweet looking bait for sure. Would be good on a spinnerbait in muddy water.

When you retrieve it it feels like a spinnerbait. Has a lot of drag as the two tails flap. I used it in my pond to see the action. It paddles its butt off. The bass loved it. But I have really aggressive fish. They hit anything.
