Default Fundraiser

Many of you were not here when the site first opened so you might not know about this.

On May 7 of this year, Shadman's young son, Jonathan, lost a lengthy battle with an inoperable brain tumor. As I remember, he hadn't yet reached his third birthday. Jeff and his family have been constantly on my mind because I simply cannot fathom their loss......especially after having to watch life taken from his little body for such a long time.

We're approaching the six month anniversary (for the lack of a better word) so I thought I would ask if anyone had any ideas as to a way we, as SaltyCajuns, can raise funds to donate to Jeff's charity that strives for a cure for what happened to little Jonathan. Maybe just donations or a raffle...whatever...just throwin' this out there.

Jeff, I, personally, appreciate what you have done for this site and I want you to know that there hasn't hardly been a day go by that I haven't thought of your family.

Salty

Thanks, Salty. Yes, my little man was only 21 months old.

I plan on putting together a large fundraiser in LA next spring. I was going to post something up about it soon. I can use all the help I can get! Our nonprofit's website is www.cbtrf.org if any of you are interested in what we do.

I have a few pennies to chip in currently, i remember shad had posted the link to his charity account a while back?

More prayers sent up for Jonathan, I told several people what little bit I knew about his story and they all seemed touched.

Jonathan passed away a few days after the site opened.

God speed with you, my friend.

done, ttt

You know I was sitting here thinking about what few problems I do currently have. When I think about what this family is dealing with in this situation it just really puts things into perspective for me. What a true inspiration you all have been for me Jeff.

I can help with a fundraiser for sure
