I talked to him yesterday they did make it to the tourney. He said the water was way too low and only about half the entries brought back fish. I am sure he will post this later so that is all I will say for now.

easy there fool.

there were 101 entries in the tourny.

well with 25 mph winds, chocolate water, and a 3 foot low tide. it was tough.

39 people weighed fish. my and one of my team mates weighed 4 fish in the slam

i had a 1.5 pound trout and a 3.1 pound red

he had a 2.1 pound trout and a 3.5 pound red.

it was rough to say the least, but it was fun to meet some of the guys.

i would consider doing that. im not fishing down there for a while, been going down ther eevery weekend for the past 2 months

and yes, the water was redic. never seen it that low

places where i know i can catch reds in 3-4 foot of water, i could not paddle through.

and i draft 2-3 inches MAX. i had to get out and pull my kayak through some mud in mud up to my shins
