Default Cypremort Point

Heading the the point this weekend. Any word on what is biting and where? Really just looking to take the boat out for the first time this year, but catching a few fish wouldn't hurt.

if u want to run ur boat then try to go to lake faussie point and run it in the open then go fish in some spots for a while like u did in lake martin. It sud be doing better there. If you not sure where to go pm me ill get with u on some areas with ur bay boat.

If you gotta go to the Bay, pick up some dead shrimps and fish Shark Bayou drains on a falling tide. There are a few reds still in the Bayou.

Thx... Lol but I was just trying to answer his question because it seemed as though salt was his cup of tea just by mentioning it. If I go run boat I'm with you 100% way closer way easier to buck wind and if something happens then you don't have to wonder if your getting home. Lake Martin I can troll to launch from anywhere in lake. I learned that lesson a few months back.

In summer when BL gets retarted with boat no one fishing vb we just go beat shark bayou and hammock banks and normally well usually really catch at least 10reds. Fish what matters most. Hop drains they stick to em more there than alot of fisheries I believe. I've fished 200yds of bank both ways pick up 2 and got to a drain pick up 7-10 back to back they turn off beat bank come back catch a few more.

I heard they were catching a few trout by the avery canal before this last front. Redfish will be a sure thing though on a falling tide.

no plm just helping out my fellow fishermans. and yea ur right reds do stick around the shark bayou area but i hate when them bay boats come in at full speed and just keep going not even slowing down causing 3 to 4 foot waves and ruin a good bite i had going so i just gave up after a few try in that area due to boat traffic unless i was able to fish during the week when it may be alot less boat traffic but hard for me to be able to fish during the week due to work full time. but for now im focused on freshwater fishing will get back in salt water fishing in late summer.... i got the sac a lait fever. but need some hint and report from yall for the next few weeks cux in some places the water is still high so im waiting on it to start falling. i read up abt miller lake but never been in it before, i wudnt mind going trying it out but im more likely wanting to try out my honey holes hopefully if they are getting ready to move in due to not much cold weathers left. i kept a eye on the weather forecast and from what it seem that it will start warming back up and more likely the fish will start moving in for sure.
