Default Look like skrimp, smell like skrimp, must be skrimp

Top Dawg had the boat loaded and ready to go and we headed south as soon as we got off work. Got to Heberts with perfect timing since the weather had already moved through and we clear skys for the rest of the afternoon. Got to the spot and had our bucket full in about an hour and 45 minutes. Shrimp were some studs! Thanks for the trip Top Dawg enjoyed it!

What time of the day were you there?. Me and a buddy went yesterday early and stayed until 2 and were there the day before also. Both days we struggled to get our bucket full. Just wondering if they were running late in the day better than in the morning. Slaughtered the crabs both days. Pressed the meat. Got about a gallon and a half of meat and a 28 quart chest of just claws.

I'll have to post a picture later, but I built a press several years ago similar to one my ex FIL used to press crabs caught from shrimping. You peel the back and pinchers off but leave the legs. wash out the guts and gills. Break bodies in half and put on ice for 24 hours. Put bodies in press legs first and pull the handle. Put a large bowl or pan under the ramp to catch the meat. Occasionally a cavity divider will fall in bowl, just pick it out. Its a bit messy and only really worth it if you have several dozen crabs. We pressed about 10 dozen crabs for what we got, but worth it.
