Default Beach 8-9-12- Shoulda been there yesterday

Went against my better judgement this morning since we had such a good trip to the beach yesterday. Report called for light south winds early in the morning developing into stronger winds as the day went on. I knew better than to fish the beach on south winds but that little voice in back of my head said maybe the winds will lay down for an hour or two. Got to beach early before sunrise and could hear the waves crashing into the shore. Threw topwater early but impossible in 3 foot waves. Once sun came up we saw how muddy the water was so we left beach early. Winds continued to pick up so we waded the ship channel for an hour. Picked up 10 trout total and called it an early day. No pics since 10 trout was not worth taking a picture of. South winds + Beach = NO FUN.
