![]() The Arkansas Pond Stockers truck was in Crowley today, i didn't have my wallet with me but, I had a little cash in my console and was able to get 25 bass to throw in. Last summer I had put some catfish and bream in it. I should have done some research before stocking it but it is kinda late for that now. Oh well, the kids sure enjoy it. Thanks for any input. |

Dude!! why you dont ask me about this stuff when we together??? Ive got an old submersible pump at the shop, actually a few...Ill give you one of them for a good price..and ill ask my father in law what he's got in his pond. It must be a good one because it runs all the time and has not gone out all the years ive been around..

Pond aeration systems are expensive!!!! My pond is 12' at its deepest & 1 acre, avg depth I'd say is about 6-7', more id looked & researched I decided I didn't need one "yet", gonna let it go & see what happens. There several pumps I looked at Tractor supply that seem to be fairly reasonable.

I just don't know how to figure out if the pump will be big enough. I haven't run across that information yet. I'd rather not go through the trouble of hooking it up if it will do no good. But then again, anything should be better than nothing.

I am not of the opinion you need much......a pump for a sewer system would work with a diffuser. My pond is a half acre and eight years old. I have roughly two acres draining into and overflow......keeps it just fine |
