Default Got a new truck!

Got a new truck finally. I brought home a new 2011 F-150 on Friday. It is amazing. There is so much room in this truck!

Anyone else have a 2011 or 2012 F-150? The computer does so much and I am still learning. I also got the Ecoboost 3.5L V6. And so far I am loving it. Once I break it in, I will let you know how it tows my 21ft fiberglass bass boat. I have heard it tows great though.

I've got a fx2 with the ecoboost and it towes my 21' aluminum boat great. My wife likes it so much she said it makes driving her Tahoe feel like driving a work truck. I guess that's the reason I'm at the dealership looking at new Expeditions today!

Why isn't Ford putting the new engines in the expeditions? Still has 5.4L.

Had mine since November. Great truck but they're full of crap about mileage. Say 21 but best I can get is about 15. Still love it.

Mileage on the Ecoboost is tricky. Mine unloaded with just myself and no wind, I can get 19 on the highway. Put two more guys with me a decent crosswind and it drops to 17. But for having a V6 and all that power connected to the skinny pedal, I'm not complaining!!

I have a 2011 F-150 XLT 4x4 that I picked up in August. I am in sales and cover all of La, and I only average about 17.5 mpg. I love this truck though. It has a ton of room, and pulls like a champ.

Got the same truck and lovin' it in the 4x4 with V6 Ecoboost. Mileage varies (according to the computer): avg in town with just me, about 18; 23 going down the road at 55; about 20 on interstate; and about 12 when hauling a bay boat or mid-size tractor.

Nice truck with loads of room (4 door), only complaint is the shortened bed, only 5.5 feet. Works for me!

Is your truck a 4x4? If not it looks like Rocky's pal is getting way better performance from the exact same truck?

Is it really necessary to "break" in any motor these days? And if so what is the correct method? Just drive it hard as hell for the first 500 miles or so?
