Default V-Bay

I finally have the opportunity to go fishing in V-Bay tomorrow. Is it worth the time?

We'll be out there tomorrow too. Hope they'll be biting!! If not, it's supposed to be a really nice day. Just getting the prop back on the boat so a good excuse to get out and try it out!!

The bay is on fire! Try Weeks Bay around Mud Point to the Trash Pile. People been loading up on specks all week. The Pass is hot for wite trout. I caught 85 Thursday on the last reef on the right going out the pass.

Thanks for all the updates. I normally fish weeks bay and the cove but i don't have time this season. This may be the last chance i get to go before they move out. Ya'll think the front messed things up?

You might catch a few tomorrow... the winds with the front usually dirty up the water, and the high pressure behind it slows the bite....if the winds lay down, it will be good again fairly soon, but the coastal forecast does not look good....10-15 kt winds through wednesday, then 15 kt + winds....Good luck! Post a report on how you do...I think I will try the basin early next week to see if my sac-a-lait holes are on a little early this year, unless you catch some fish tomorrow!

The bay calmed down this afternoon, it was as muddy as I ever saw it. The water was as low as I have ever saw it. Went to the worm to crab. Did not go by the trash pile. No one I spoke to caught a fish. Maybe on the other side or at t butte???
