Default BIG lake 9/17

Made a trip with Jedi Lure Trick and Longcast saturday morning. Found a falling tide and an east wind. Ran into SaltyShaw at cal pt. and decided to buddy boat with him. Fished east bank moving south. Picked up fish here and there, bite was not fast and furious but there were fish there. Decided to try and make a run south to see if we could get on some birds...nadda...but decided to try west cove while we were in the area. Pulled up, found trout and big redfish. We were tripled up on big reds at one point. Kept a few for the smoker. Baits today were glow sand eel jr's, glow jerk jr's and motor oil salty grubs. Big thanks to Longcast for another day on lake. Also, fished with the stick'em 7' med light redfish casting special. It was doubled over with a 10.5 lb red which happens to be my biggest to date. fun stuff to say the least. Rod held up and gets my vote.
Few pics..

That dude had me rolling. Also who ever has the boat my pall 2 you don't have to be on top of the dock. You also need to learn a little common courtesy.Jared Congrats on the pb. I had a blast fishing with shaw and thanks for the tips.

My pal too out of bossier city. Running through birds and giving gas to his motor to keep himself ON TOP of the dock at cal pt. Lol.
