b.s. this guy did a federal offense along with the murders, casey anthony didn't do a federal crime. unless they get creative! But really, do you want the federal government getting in everything and violating people's rights.

creativity is the fed's middle name..why you think their conviction rate is in the upper 90 percent? i know, and i have seen(with drug cases--that is) the feds buying up witnesses and co-conspirators/defendants . all it takes is for her to open her mouth to 1 or 2 inmates while she was in, and that --plus the already known evidence---could be subject to a conspiracy charge. Majority of people in federal prison are on conspiracy cases..

conspiracy, where you don't have to get caught actually committing a crime., as long as they have two sources, you have a conspiracy charge.whether that being phone recordings, photos,videos,a RAT, a confession, etc.

no one hears about those cases! but they really do exist and people are going to jail because someone who really got caught gave up bogus information for a easy off plea bargain!

First degree murder is a Federal crime:

18 U.S.C. 1111 First-degree murder.

They would need a lot better evidence to prove 1st degree, though.
