Default Big Lake 5/24 (night) report

Mikedatiger and Mallardfish made a trip with me last night. The fish were smaller than the night before, much smaller actually and the wind was up at least another 5mph. We did manage to finish off our three man limit but we were up a litter later than the night before. We also had the pleasure of a boat pot licking us so we turned off our lights until they left. These guys kept their outboard on, put the engine in reverse trying to set anchor and ran almost a complete circle around us. When we were leaving they were anchored downwind from the HR&G night boat. We stopped for 10 minutes and watched the HR&G boat pull in trout ever other cast while the "dummy boat" did not catch a fish. If you are going to night fish guys, bring your own lights as you have to be fairly close to the lights and then neither boat can really fish. If you fish a dock, and people are already fishing, same thing, let the people that own the dock and are paying for the electricity (and were there first) have their fun.

Outside of this "issue', it was a great trip with plenty of fish.
