Default Calcasieu Lake 6/12

Made it to the lake about 6:30 this morning. Fished Turner's for a little while with no luck, then moved to the wells and caught a couple specks. Nothing too frantic so we went down the west bank a little south of Texaco cut and found some bait fish. Started fishing there and put a few more in the boat. Ran around the lake to a few other spots and didn't catch another fish until going back to the second spot we fished this morning and picked up 2 more. Ended the day with 8 reds and 7 specks.

Nothing wrong with that. How was the boat traffic today?

BIGJ,
there were a few boat but we never got crowded. Most were hanging out in Turners and near the Wash Out. We didn't have any boat within 300 yards of us all day.

Shaw,
We were throwing cocohoes, each place where we caught fish they were chasing shrimp.

You can never go wrong with glow/chart sand eels!
