Default Sprint Airave

I don't know if any of you guys have Sprint for cell service but if you don't have good service at home, give their customer support line a call and tell them you want to get an Airave. I got mine in today and it has made a HUGE difference. I went from barely getting 1 bar of service and never having 3G to always having 5-6 bars of service and connecting to 3G. You just plug the Airave into your internet modem and let it sync itself up, that's it. It can handle up to 3 phone connections at a time and covers 5000 square feet. When you make a call it takes your call and sends it through the internet to the nearest cell tower then goes over the air from there. I've only had mine since 5 this afternoon and I already love it. Just wanted to put this information out there in case people weren't aware of it.

I think Verizon and AT&T offer something similar.

Last year they were giving them out ...the hardware and service if you *****es enough.think of it like this.why do you have to pay extra just to use at your home..what of the cell was your mainline? ..that's one stipulation that allows u to have the early termination waved.of course...they can always argue u are past your 90day return

Sorry for the late response but yes, it was completely free for both the hardware and the service. I called them Sunday afternoon and just said that I almost never have service at home so he pulled up my address and said "O yes I see that you are in a low coverage area so an Airave will help you tremendously." He did say that usually it costs $150 for the modem and $5 a month for the service but since I'm a Sprint Premier customer everything is free. I didn't have to do any complaining or griping, just told him that I was interested in it.

Thanks, I have sprint and it sucks at my house. I have to walk down the street to make a call. I will call them today, I am a premier member, I have had sprint service for 16 years. Thanks for the heads up.
