Met up with a couple of guys today that tore up the Flounder and Reds along the Ship Channel where it goes into West Cove on the North Side.

When the fronts start cooling the water down, they start moving South.
The ones I seen cleaned today were all full of eggs.
They are moving out slower than last year.
My wife and I caught over 100 last year when them cold azz fronts came thru.
Still got some in the freezer. I'm just glad the water isn't so fresh like last year.
This might last longer.

Well I finally caught enough shrimp; so when Jr. said he was open for a trip I was more excited than if I was fishing a tournament. That was avery rewarding trip for me. I really didn't care if i caught any thing.Iwas out there with one ambition make sure my partner caught fish. If you notice the big flounder in photo it's in front of my son. I really thought he was going to walk on water when the fish surfaced. All in all It was a very good feeling to be with one of the few people I fish with. Tommorrow I'm going to the marsh and put out the decoy's. Com'on Saturday. Oh yeah thanks for the response on thread.

Good catch Mr. D, I agree, it's twice the fun when the kid goes with you.
When you have grand kids it's fun squared.
Ducks too, you gonna have to get another freezer. HaHa!
