No, but I now know how to answer your "can I bring anything" question when we finally get to make a fishing trip. Muscadine wine will be my answer.

Got an old boy that used to work for my dad brings a few bottles over every couple months. I love it, but none of my friends will drink it. I think it tastes great and gets u hammered. Prob got about 5-6 bottles at my deer camp and another 3-4 at my dads house.

Mine are all still green.......

Hard to get to too, high up.
I just wait till they fall and pick them off the ground.
you are welcome to come by, but it's tough go if you need enough to make wine.

They should be ready, my hunting lease is covered with them on one of my shooting lanes. I had to cut alot of the vines down last weekend so I could see down my lanes. I would say come get all you want but its in Avoyelles Parish and after rains last weekend we have anywhere from 2-4 foot of water on the lease right now.

Take a cane pole and make a hook out of a coat hanger .Duct tape the hook to the end of the pole .works great for picking muscidines ,pears etc anything to high to reach.

we used to find a bunch around johnson bayou.. pretty darn good paddle though. Good luck and let me know if you catch anything. Watermelon red flukes and shad colored crankbaits should be kicking right about now. I like that crankbait by the deep structure.

Before Rita, they grew wild on the fence lines on the front
ridge road between Cameron and Rutherfords Beach.
