Default Got a beach report for ya'll

............The beach and the rocks are still "fishable." Pogie boats were all over the rocks today. They had the water so muddy. Even where the the boats were not was still stained. It has a green tint, but very sandy. Just west of the jetties was HORRIBLE. Even with these north winds, nothing has cleaned up. Jetties even a toss up on whether to fish or not.

Great report......thanks. Itching to try the beach again, but trying to wait until it clears up some.

Did you catch any fish along the beach or anywhere else?

Pogy boats have to stay 1/2 mile away from the beach.
My cousin and her boyfriend caught a buttload of trout
on the beach yesterday morning early. I was supposed
to go too, but I had to help my dad and a friend with
some a/c work.

They said the bite stops DEAD around 8:30 for the past 2 days in a row.
Yesterday was a great day, day before was just o.k.

Not great, but not bad either.
They caught on topwater for an hour or so, then it died.
They swapped to Sand Eel Jr. Glow and Opening Night.
Caught a few more with the Sand Eels.
Then it died. Winds were very slight.
They went again this morning. I will find out what they
caught and post it tonight. I am getting ready to go to
sleep so I can work nights.
