I think you could use that bow, no reason to have a seperate one. I plan on using mt Matthews to hunt and bowfish.

You can use it as I have a Parker also. It's just not real practical to set it at 70 lbs for bowfishing most of the time. I use an old Darton 45-60lb draw, that I crank down to 45 lbs. IMO you want something that's real easy to draw AND let down.

slower is better, you can buy a pse bowfishing rig for $150 the reel sucks, I would replace it with a $80 bowfishing reel that retrieves the arrow and fish faster than hand reeling. a parker compound is too fast unless you use a really old one. 150 fps is plenty quick for bowfishing.
