need advice on buying a new vise

broke my old vise and need a new one so im looking for a 4" bench top vise of good quality for under $75

went to home depot and they had a cheap little 4" vise for $30 that started galling the screw threads as I tightened it so I returned it and the next choice they had looked to be made just as junky but it cost $80.

so im asking if any of you guys know where I can get a god quality vise that wont break when I tighten the snot out of it for a frozen bolt or whatever or when I need to beat on something with a hammer.

not looking for professional grade, just something made to last and be abused
