Default Buckhorn Double drop

I have been shown how its done . My 11 yr old daughter got picked for buckhorn.
The first day we saw nothing . The second evening a 119 # pound doe walks out and like Carlos Hathcock she puts it where it need s to be , one shot one kill at 100 yds. Then came the last cold morning , little did we know what was in store for us . It was 27 that morning and we had not seen anything . I had just told her in 20 minutes we are getting down, we have to go pack and start our 4 hour drive back. She said "Dad I want a buck so bad ! Can we call ?". I really did not want to . I know the rut is from Christmas thru the first week of January after years of Bowhunting Tensas . But I pick up the grunt call and hit it 4 times then followed it with the Lil can. Put them down and sat back to relax . I turned to my left and out of the palmettos comes a big buck looking for the other deer ! I said Get Your Gun NOW ! A big bucks coming ! He got about 40 yds from the stand then went into the palmettos skirting the lane headed away . Soon I saw him again fixing to step out . I told her to get on the lane . He started walking across and I stopped him with the grunt , no coaching this time ! As soon as he stopped BAM ! She Hammered him! Thought it was an 8 pt , it all happened fast . Turned out to be a 220# 10 point !!! I can't describe the emotion man! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1355110125.729756.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1355110148.015683.jpg
