Default Dularge 01/08/11

made a solo trip down to Dularge this morning. woke up late due to my alarm clock not going off . Ended up putting the boat in at Jug's around 7:15. Made the short run to a favorite winter time hotspot. the water was already low and falling out fast. the action was not fast and furious, but enough to keep me interested, managed to boat 11 trout, lost a few at the boat, and weed thru about 25 reds to get my 5 to keep. as soon as the tide quit moving they shut down. all fish were caught on tsunami swimbaits, fished on the bottom with a slow retrieve. it wasnt a dularge trout slam, and i'm no capt marty lacoste, but all in all it was a beautiful day to be on the water.
