the 2x4 is temp. its acting as a collar tie to keep the 4x8 rafters from pushing the vertical post and headers out . im waiting on my iron guy to make a round steel allthread type peice that will be powder coated in place of the 2x4 but his supplier sent him the wrong material so ill have to go install it when he fabs it for me |
