I am not the best to give any advice however from watching a lot of the post on here and having recently went out twice with a guide the best advice I can offer would be to watch the lake for the birds. There is a decent amount of shrimp and bait so if you watch the birds you will be close to the fish. Also Ive seen a lot of post about reds in shallow waters along the marsh waiting to ambush the shrimp so if you wants reds be sure to have some shrimp and fish any shallow openings along the grass beds.
