My first wife and I use to make cinnamon rolls.
Open a can of biscuits and roll it out on a cutting board about 1/8" thick and maybe 8" wide.
Melt about 1/2 a stick of butter [not margarine] and generously spread it out over the dough.
Mix up about 1/4 cup of sugar and about a tablespoon of cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the dough. Save a little for later.
Now cut the biscuit dough into 5/8" wide pieces x 8" long. Roll the piece into a round circle. Cut all the dough and roll each piece up and place on a cookie sheet with each piece touching the next one.
Now pour any "left-over" butter from the cutting board and put it on top of the rolls of dough. Then lightly sprinkle the top with some of the sugar/cinnamon mix.
Cook as directed on the can of biscuit dough.
When the cinnamon rolls are cooked, covered the top with a sugar glaze.
To make the glaze.........Put about 3/4 cup of confectioner's sugar [powdered sugar] into a small bowl. Slowly add about 3 tablespoons of milk [or water] and stir until smooth and so that you can pour it onto the rolls. A teaspoon of vanilla extract can be added.
Pour the glaze evenly on the hot cinnamon rolls after they are cooked.
Enjoy!!!!!
