The 444 Marlin is a very sweet gun. I had one for years until someone wanted it more than I did
I now only use my CVA Wolf 50Cal. It is a very nice gun out to 150yds, anything beyond that and you need and you really need rifle or a long range muzzle loader made by Johnston (
