Arrived at Dagos around 6: First thought WOW why the hell are there so many boats.. duh opener of the waterfowl season phew
Pass Bayou Patout launch: "LOOK AT ALL THE BOATS!"
Get to the Point launch: "LOOK AT ALL THE BOATS...FISHING BOATS. AT LEAST ITS A GOOD SIGN"
Get to the cove.. PACKED!
water.. o.k. fishable...
Fished there caught two first round still early.. go hit trash pile. Water improved. No fish, no boats humm somethings not right must be fresh
Back to the cove.. MORE PACKED! People catching. US.. NOT CATCHING
Went through every bait we had in the box desperately trying to find what everyone was catching on.. Finally after a boat limited out in front of us, we figured it out... kind of..
Cast far let it sink to bottom.. SLLOOWW retreive! Boom started catching a few. Very boring fishing technique but we ended with about 25, but they werent no babies all S.O.L.I.D.
