IDK why, but on day my PawPaw made a gumbo with some shake-n-bake in the place of flour for the roux. It came out pretty damn good. He started making every 3rd or 4th gumbo of his with shake-n-bake. He was from Chauvin so every gumbo he cooked was shrimp and okra.
biggun we put eggs too but they are always hard boiled eggs.
