Matt and his buddies Wade and Ryan came in this morning for some trout action. Slick calm conditions made the Bluewave glide south with ease. First fish was a hammer caught by Ryan and we looked to be onto something. We trolled around and got onto an everycast, with multiple doubles. Unfortunately another boat wanted in on the action too and drifted into our casting range and shut the bite down. With storms around us kicking up the wind we had to move around to find 20 here and 20 there. With the storms dying down and the Gulf becoming slick the shrimp started skipping on the surface and we finished up pretty quickly. Double rigged Matrix with most coming on Shrimp Creole and Ultraviolet.
