Yep thinly sliced cabbage. Got family in SoCal where these were first made from what I understand. I use lightly battered and fried Mahi with a Baja sauce. Roughly its sour cream, lime juice and the thick juice from a can of smoked jalapeƱos- they have an official name but can't recall at the moment. I play with it till I like it. And corn tortillas warmed on a griddle. Good eats!
